Needs & Wishes

Needs & Wishes formed in Sydney in 2014 as a small handmade business designing and producing a range of hand-printed drinkware. We honed our retail skills every weekend through the thriving market scene in Sydney and since 2017 in Canberra – the beautiful city we now call home.

In 2020, as the Covid-19 lockdowns struck, the business took an unexpected turn – wholesale orders started to thrive – it was time to grow our business (and reclaim our home!).

Welcome to the Needs & Wishes store in Braddon, Canberra. A first of its kind hybrid retail space located on vibrant Lonsdale Street. Combining a workshop and retail area, we continue to produce our existing Needs & Wishes collection, but we have also expanded to incorporate a curated range of gifts and lifestyle products.

Inspired by modern nostalgia with a retro angle, we have an eclectic range of fun and funky giftware.
