MAINE+MARA was born after a serious accident left Tamara requiring facial reconstruction. It became immediately clear in the aftermath how impactful what we wear can be, and how shapes have the ability to balance our features and empower us to embrace imperfect perfection.
This fresh perspective led her to resign as a creative director and pursue her passion for creating meaningful products to inspire acceptance, authenticity, positive self-love and expression.
