About me 
Hello to you – future stockist of Fossick & Dreams, Fossick Hats.
My name is Belle and I am the owner/manager/creator/designer of Fossick Hats.
I live in Devonport Tasmania with my two girls, two dogs and cat!
I started Fossick & Dream in October 2019 after years of a demanding Youth Worker, administration and management roles in the local community and surrounds. My head and heart needed a break.
My friend was opening ladies and men’s clothing store and she gave me the opportunity to have a shop within a shop. The idea behind name ‘Fossick’ stems from my love of fossicking. Whether it’s at the beach….the second-hand stores or forest, I absolutely love finding treasures.
I had dreams of moving into my own store later this year but the stars didn’t align. So I have set up a studio at home now where all the creative magic happens. What a first year in business it has been! So many words to describe it but WOW will do for now.
Initially, I started stocking all kinds of jewellery and accessories, sourcing local and interstate goods of high quality. The demand for decent priced nice jewellery was high and I have some great ongoing suppliers for my online shop.
Feeling a little lost creatively I decided to start designing a hat. Wool Fedoras to be precise! I wore the first one that I created and very quickly I had orders coming in. So Fossick Hats was born!
I absolutely love designing my hats. No two are the same and I create different styles to suit different tastes. I was keeping about 10 different styles in stock at the shop and selling out quickly. Sending them interstate and even internationally.
So I am now offering wholesale for Fossick Hats as the demand grows because of their unique style. I am currently in the process of a new hand painted design – so watch this space!
